Combined company offers comprehensive digital media managed services to more than 120M consumers

Beginning today, the combined company, rebranded Avail-TVN, enables the distribution and monetization of linear and on-demand content to more than 120 million consumers through more than 230 cable, telecom, DBS, and hybrid providers.

Avail Media and TVN Entertainment announced their intention to merge on May 18, 2009. Columbia Capital, the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC), Novak Biddle Venture Partners, Pioneer Ventures and Valhalla Partners invested in the merger. Today, the companies provide services to nearly every television provider in North America.
