Recent Titles Coming To VOD Day and Date: Release Windows Continue To Compress

Los Angeles, California, May 26, 2009 - TVN Entertainment Corporation, the world’s leading television on-demand company, today announced its VOD release schedule for June. TVN’s VOD lineup heats up the screen with a slew of day and date titles, including the self-proclaimed “anti-romantic” comedy He’s Just Not That Into You, the family-friendly fantasy adventure film Ink Heart, Spinning Into Butter, a drama starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Spring Breakdown, a comedy with Amy Poehler.

Additionally, TVN is bringing to On Demand the recent award-winning hits, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Gran Torino, as well as Last Chance Harvey, My Bloody Valentine, Friday the 13th, New In Town, Valkyrie, Role Models Unrated Special Edition and a special sneak peek, the pre-theatrical release of The Answer Man.

Day and date releases are clearly showcasing how studios, large and small, are embracing shortened release windows between theatrical, DVD and VOD. “Consumers appreciate the convenience and value of movies on-demand and are responding to day and date releases in a big way.” said Doug Sylvester, President and COO of TVN. “With day and date titles, the studios can maximize their marketing efforts by promoting VOD and DVD availability while supporting consumer interest in viewing content when and how they want it.”

Also in June, TVN will bring its “Quote This” package of oft-quoted classic titles to VOD. With unforgettable lines such as John Belushi in Animal House exclaiming “TOGA! TOGA!” and Tom Hanks on that bench saying “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.” in Forrest Gump, “Quote This” features great classic quotable movies for everyone.
