TVN Entertainment Announces Results From Third ‘Watch To Win’ Campaign

Significant Increase in Buy Rates Result from the Campaign Created to Drive Awareness of VOD

Los Angeles, California, November 3, 2008 - TVN Entertainment Corp., the world’s largest television on demand company, today announced the results of its third Watch To Win campaign. Launched to drive awareness and sampling of VOD, the campaign offered consumers the chance to win a 50” HDTV and a year of digital TV service by watching one of a select group of movie trailers. The 7 week campaign resulted in increased usage among current and non-users of VOD and an increase in movie buy rates.

Charter Communications, Mediacom, Bresnan Communications and Verizon Fios participated in the campaign, which represented over 4 million VOD-enabled subscribers. Of those, 12% entered the sweepstakes which was promoted heavily through cross-channel spots and over 1 million direct mail pieces. In addition, TVN created a “Watch To Win” category in the VOD guide to help customers easily navigate to the sweepstakes.

“This campaign proves more successful every time we run it,” said Amy Kan, vice president of marketing and communications at TVN Entertainment. “In addition to 56 to 93 percent increases in buy rates for Watch to Win titles among our participating affiliates, we saw a halo effect on buy rates for all new releases in these Watch To Win systems.”

All of the Watch To Win titles, “The Nanny Diaries” (WB), “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” (WB), “Superbad” (Sony), “Rush Hour 3” (New Line), were among the ten most watched on-demand titles during the campaign period in Watch To Win systems. After watching a “Watch To Win” trailer, 8 percent went on to purchase that particular movie.

TVN licenses more VOD channels and movie and event packages than any other programmer to date. In addition to creating and maintaining nine uniquely branded VOD networks, TVN packages, distributes and manages over 8300 hours of programming from more than 175 content providers including every major movie studio. The on-demand leader also creates VOD barker channels for the industry’s top cable operators.
