Leading Television On-Demand Company to Provide Comprehensive Services
Burbank, California, April 2, 2008 - TVN Entertainment Corp., the world’s largest television on demand company, today announced that it has reached a multi-year agreement with WFN: World Fishing Network for a comprehensive range of video on-demand (VOD) services including distribution in both the US and Canadian markets.
TVN will provide a full suite of signature on-demand services including: encoding in a variety of codecs; industry-wide content delivery in both standard and high definition; the Emmy nominated asset management system, ADONISS 2; iPRI – TVN’s interactive asset management tool specifically designed to allow programmers to make real-time changes to metadata post-pitch; and TVNow – the fast turn around service for time-sensitive content. TVN will also provide consulting, technology services and marketing support through customized weekly barker channels, promotions and campaigns.
